UK Carp Bait Specialists Bought By Rapala

Not really bivvy-news as such, but there can't be many UK carp anglers who haven't heard of Dynamite Baits. The produce some fine carp fishing baits, in conjunction with top anglers such as Terry Hearn and Frank Warwick, as well as ready-prepared particle baits and an ever-increasing range of general coarse fishing baits.

It has been reported by Rapala today that they have purchased Dynamite Baits for £5.3m in a 100% takeover.

Dynamite Baits is a company well known for quality, so it should fit in well with Rapala, who built their reputation in a similar way.

Marcus Twidale is staying on as MD after the acquisition and I'm sure we can expect to see some exciting developments over the coming months.
